AboutSince 2004, York has hosted readings and presentations by over 50 of Canada’s most significant, emerging authors through the Canadian Writers in Person (CWIP) series. These wonderful episodes in CanLit have been captured on video, but have remained stored in their original taped form and thus essentially inaccessible until now. The purpose of this archive is to enable scholars, students and lovers of Canadian literature to hear authors read their own works in their own voices and reflect on their unique experiences of the creative process. The in-class presentations are open to the public at no cost.
