RM Vaughan

Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, R.M. Vaughan is a noted novelist, poet, playwright and essayist. He obtained a Masters Degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of New Brunswick, and gradually made his way west, where he settled in Toronto.

His work has appeared in numerous anthologies and journals, and he has also published his own volumes of poetry in addition to his novels and plays. In addition to his artistic works of fiction, Vaughan contributes to CBC’s National Commentary series, and has also written columns for The Globe and Mail. An art and cultural critic, Vaughan spends his spare time supporting liberal causes and paramilitary homosexuality.
